Although computer networks enable effective electronic communication between people, sometimes the best way to exchange information is a face-to-face meeting. Technology can still play a valuable role in these situations, as software tools are available to develop every kind of presentation from straight-forward slide-shows to slick video productions, while hardware options include display solutions that cater for all sizes of audience and interactive whiteboards that allow the direct manipulation of displayed data on a grand scale.

Atomwide can supply and install presentation equipment from a variety of leading manufacturers, including NEC, SMART, Mimio and Philips. As products become increasingly affordable and offer ever more versatile features, Atomwide really can help you make a big impression!

"Atomwide has installed four SMART boards and projectors for us, and we have been enormously impressed by their understanding of the school environment since they do not simply follow a 'one size fits all' approach."

The integration of computer technology with conventional whiteboards adds an exciting new dimension to presentation and teaching environments. While acting as a screen for the projected display of a computer, an interactive whiteboard also feeds back information about its user’s pen movements to that computer. In this way, the pen can be used as a mouse, or as a virtual marker that can annotate a display or draw on an emulated whiteboard. Furthermore, the contents of the whiteboard can be saved to disk or printed at any stage.

The portable Mimio system can also be used without a projector or computer to capture work for later replay or printing.
